How to make an apple pie and see the world

We read the book "How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World".  The girls saw the humour in this story the girl first doing all this travel all over the world to get ingredients and then the ending.  We all predicted that the story would start over again with her travels when the market was closed and she couldn't get ice cream.  So that got a laugh from us all.  The boys showed us all the different countries as the story went along with the story disk and we made a note of where the ingredients were located by country.

This story can not be read without actually MAKING an apple pie.

Does that not look fantastic??  They did a great job from start to finish!  And yup, it was delicious!!
